The organisers of the 41st Session of the World Heritage Committee would like to invite those attending the Session to take part in tours around World Heritage Sites, arranged to coincide with the WHC proceedings. The organisers of the tours will arrange transportation and either English or French speaking guides. Most of the trips have to be paid for – prices are quoted next to the description of each trip, while payments will be taken by the organisers on the day of the trip (in PLN/Polish zlotys only). The ICE Congress Center will be the meeting point for all trips, seeing as it is also the venue for the Session.
How to sign up for the tours?
Those wishing to attend can sign up using an online form or in person right before the time of departure for any given trip, directly with the organisers. Online bookings are open up to 24 hours before the start of any tour, and then – depending on availability – it will only be possible to sign up right before departure, on the day of the tour. The number of places for each tour is limited, with places being assigned on a “first come, first served” basis.
Once the online form is completed, and the group assembled, those taking part will receive an email confirming their place, thereby ensuring that they can join in the tour.
The organisers will provide information about the number of places left available on a daily basis during the Session, as well as through a calendar which will be regularly updated and made available to all those taking part.
